NEAR launches Universal Send for private crosschain payments

NEAR Protocol has unveiled Universal Send, a solution aimed at enabling confidential crosschain token transfers. The new feature allows users to send assets securely across multiple blockchains while preserving privacy, addressing a key pain point in current interoperability mechanisms.

By integrating zero-knowledge proofs in its crosschain bridge architecture, Universal Send obfuscates transaction details such as sender, receiver, and amount.
