Web3 wallet platform SafePal has plugged into Robinhood’s layer-2 mainnet, giving its users a direct path to trade tokenized traditional assets without leaving the wallet.
The integration, announced July 3, lets anyone using SafePal’s swap function buy and sell native tokens on the Robinhood chain instantly. No switching platforms, no extra steps. The chain itself is a public blockchain built specifically to support tokenization of real-world assets – stocks, ETFs, commodities – and has quickly become a key piece of RW A infrastructure.
SafePal is not stopping at native token swaps. The company said it plans to deepen on-chain liquidity for Robinhood chain-based assets by adding partnerships with major decentralized finance platforms, including decentralized exchanges that handle perpetual contracts. The goal: boost overall trading volume and make these tokenized assets more tradable.
Already, SafePal has linked up with xStocks and Ondo Finance, two big tokenized-asset service providers. Through those integrations, users can invest in shares of global companies like Nvidia, Tesla and SpaceX directly from the SafePal wallet. Traditional assets such as S&P 500 ETFs and gold are also available.
What this means in practice: a crypto wallet holder can now buy a tokenized slice of Nvidia stock, swap it for Tesla, or move into a gold-backed token – all without leaving the SafePal interface. The Robinhood chain handles the settlement, and the wallet handles the user experience.
Robinhood’s L2 mainnet launched with a focus on bridging TradFi and crypto. By onboarding a major wallet like SafePal – which claims millions of users – the network gets a distribution channel that most RWA chains still lack. For SafePal, the move adds a real-world asset trading feature that competing wallets have been slow to roll out.
The next catalyst to watch: which perp DEXs SafePal actually integrates, and whether the on-chain liquidity for these tokenized shares can support anything beyond retail-sized trades.
SafePal wallet now lets users trade tokenized stocks like Nvidia and Tesla directly inside the app
SafePal integrated Robinhood’s blockchain to allow users to buy and sell tokenized shares of companies like Nvidia, Tesla, and commodities without leaving the wallet. This makes it easier for SafePal users to access traditional investments in a single app.
