Affiliate Disclosure
How we earn and what it means for you
CryptoCycleIndex participates in affiliate programs with cryptocurrency exchanges. This page explains how those relationships work, in compliance with FTC guidelines (16 CFR Part 255) and EU Directive 2005/29/EC on unfair commercial practices.
An affiliate link is a special URL that contains a unique identifier (referral code) tied to our account on a partner exchange.
When you click an affiliate link on our website or in our Telegram channels and create an account or trade on the destination exchange, we may receive a commission from that exchange – usually a small percentage of the trading fees you pay.
You do not pay extra. The commission comes from the exchange's revenue, not from any markup on your trades.
Affiliate links may appear in our Telegram channels and as compact related exchange links on individual news pages when a news item mentions a supported exchange or token pair.
These links are shown only when relevant to the news. RSS feeds and widgets do not contain affiliate links.
Affiliate revenue does not influence our news selection, analysis, or rankings:
- We publish news regardless of whether the mentioned exchange has an affiliate program with us
- We do not artificially boost stories about partner exchanges
- Our news quality filtering applies equally to all sources
- We disclose affiliate links wherever they appear – explicitly and visibly
As of publication, affiliate referral URLs are configured for Binance, Bybit and KuCoin. Other supported exchange links may temporarily point to the exchange's official website without a referral code until a partner URL is configured.
We may add or remove partnerships over time; this section will be updated accordingly.
You are never required to use our affiliate links. You can:
- Visit any exchange directly without using our links
- Compare offers across multiple exchanges before opening an account
- Use any other discovery channel for crypto news
We appreciate when readers use our links – it helps fund operations and keep the service free – but it is entirely optional.
When you click an affiliate link, the destination exchange may set cookies and track your registration. We do not control how partner exchanges process your data – please review their respective Privacy Policies.
On our side, we may track aggregate click counts (anonymous) to understand which content drives engagement. We do not associate clicks with individual user identities. See our Privacy Policy for details.
If you have questions about a specific affiliate relationship, suspect a conflict of interest in our coverage, or want to report a misleading affiliate link, please contact us through the Contact page.
