Powerloom halts July 21, putting unwithdrawn POWER and other assets at risk

Powerloom blockchain will permanently shut down in 24 hours, requiring users to move their assets to Ethereum or risk losing access. Unclaimed rewards and staked funds are now unrecoverable, raising concerns over stranded assets.
The clock is ticking for anyone holding POWER tokens or other transferable assets on the Powerloom blockchain. The network will stop producing blocks at 6:00 AM UTC on July 21 – that's less than a day from now. As of press time, the project's official wind-down page still lists the bridge as active, but users who wait risk losing their funds permanently.

Powerloom's final reminder is blunt: start a withdrawal through the official bridge, then complete the claim on Ethereum before the cutoff. But the window is narrower than it looks. Only balances already available for transfer on Powerloom qualify. Reward claims, unstaking requests, and node-slot burns closed on July 16 when the mint.powerloom.network dashboard went offline. Those funds are already unrecoverable.

The remaining eligible group is holders with liquid on-chain balances. Anyone still waiting on pending claims or unstaking has no recovery path. Powerloom explicitly states that unclaimed rewards, staked POWER, and node-slot money that depended on those dashboard workflows cannot be retrieved.

Once the chain halts, its contracts and state become inaccessible. The Arbitrum-based bridge will stop working because it no longer has an operating source chain to talk to. Balances left behind will be stranded inside a dead network.

That said, the POWER ERC-20 token on Ethereum – contract 0x429F0d8233e517f9acf6F0C8293BF35804063a83 – is immutable and sits entirely outside this deadline. It will remain accessible on the Ethereum chain. The shutdown affects only assets and application state on Powerloom itself.

The project's founders announced the wind-down on June 15, saying they had concluded that Powerloom lacked a sustainable operating model, enough ecosystem demand, and sufficient resources to keep the network running long term. The team urged users to exit while the bridge was still live.

The immediate watch item is the bridge link on Powerloom's wind-down page. If it stays active, holders with liquid balances have one final window to move their assets. After 6:00 AM UTC on July 21, that route disappears – and any remaining POWER on the Powerloom chain will be locked forever.
