Stat and Bloomingbit launch AI platform to help institutions make smarter crypto investments

Stat and Bloomingbit introduced Bloomingbit Alpha, an AI platform that combines expert forecasts to guide institutional crypto investors. This tool offers a clearer reference for market expectations, helping investors understand potential price moves.
Stat, a blockchain data analytics company, has unveiled Bloomingbit Alpha – an artificial intelligence platform for institutional investors developed jointly with Bloomingbit, the digital-asset affiliate of Hankyung Media Group. The platform went live with an introductory page and a demo request portal on June 30, according to a post on X by Stat.

The terminal moves beyond standard price-centric data services. Stat said it builds analytical infrastructure designed for direct use in investment decision-making, not just chart-watching. Bloomingbit Alpha will first be offered on an early-access basis to a select group of institutions.

CEO Park Joo-hwan described the platform's core innovation: "Bloomingbit Alpha is the first to introduce the concept of consensus to the digital-asset market. Just as stock prices move not on earnings themselves but against consensus, the market's average outlook, Bloomingbit Alpha standardizes forecasts from global investment banks and crypto-native research houses and presents them as a single benchmark."

That "consensus benchmark" aims to give institutions a reference point for what the market already expects – and therefore where surprises could drive moves. It is paired with an AI intelligence engine built differently from general-purpose generative AI. Stat said the engine combines reasoning capabilities from large language models with real-time news and market data pipelines secured through Bloomingbit. The company applied a retrieval-augmented generation, or RAG, architecture to improve analytical accuracy and reduce hallucinations common in generative AI.

The terminal covers both on-chain and off-chain data. Stat plans to add over-the-counter deal flow and liquidity data, exchange-to-exchange fund flows, supply-demand indications, activity metrics on major projects and market participants, and stablecoin/currency deposit and withdrawal flows. Other features include quantified market sentiment analysis from social, news and community sources; an asset screener built on hundreds of indicators; event overlays placing news and on-chain events on price charts; customized real-time alerts; and user-defined dashboards across institutional workflows.

Park said the goal is to create intelligence institutions can use immediately in decision-making by linking research forecasts from around the world with actual market fund flows into a single benchmark. Based on the data and distribution infrastructure secured through the Bloomingbit partnership, Stat aims to set the standard for AI-based digital-asset intelligence.

The early-access phase will test the platform with a limited set of institutional clients. Stat has not disclosed a timeline for a wider rollout. Investors should watch for feedback from those initial users and whether the consensus benchmark concept gains traction among hedge funds, asset managers, and trading desks seeking an edge in an increasingly data-driven market.
